At the heart of Cozy Nook is Johanna Thein, a dedicated care professional whose life and work are guided by deep empathy, family values, and extensive experience supporting individuals across multiple stages of life.
As a Filipina native, honoring and caring for elders is a sacred value deeply embedded in my culture. Raising a large, loving family as a mother of seven has given me a deep well of patience, gentle understanding, and the natural ability to make any space feel thoroughly like home.
Having once been seriously ill and relying entirely on caregivers myself, I know exactly what it feels like to be vulnerable. Because I have walked in those shoes, I am dedicated to providing the exact dignity, patience, and profound respect I wanted when I was in that bed.
